City of Ottawa Pumpkin Patch Workshops

The City has a number of “Pumpkin Patch” workshops running in October. These workshops are great for getting in to the fall festive spirit with a fun craft. There are various classes for various age groups.

Pumpkin Derby – this is always a big event at Lansdowne Park. Participants design a pumpkin race car, build it, and let their imagination run wild to create an eye-catching racer. They will be competing for prizes and bragging rights at the Annual Lansdowne Park Pumpkin Derby!

Cupcake Decorating Workshop - Learn to decorate stunning cupcakes for your family and friends., including how to tint your icing, use a piping bag and create thematic designs. Participants are required to bring a dozen premade cupcakes.

Dinosaur Discovery Workshop - In this one day workshop, travel through time to explore the amazing world of dinosaurs! Dig for 'fossils', make RAWRsome crafts, and learn about new dinosaurs.
